Did any luvs ever come stock with a holly carb. Never really payed attention to it but noticed ive got a holley emblem on the tailgate. was gonna open the hood tomorrow and check it out.

Guess no one knew but i found the answer. There's a Holley Chevrolet in brownwood, tx where the truck was purchased from. :lol:

The LUVs all came stock with a Hitachi carb to my knowledge. It's not the greatest carb in the world, but I've found a few little tricks and ideas to get these carbs to do ok and I've rebuilt both of mine. There is a Holley carb that looks very similiar to the LUV's Hitachi, but I don't know what it came on or how hard it is to find one.
