FYI. My search for a driveline was a learning experience. I am hoping what I learned can be valuable to other members on this board. A member recommended that I use http://car-part.com/ for all my used car part needs. The first placed I called, Roper Motor Company, out in North Carolina said they had what I needed and will send it out for $75.00. I thought this was a great deal until the driveline arrived to South Bay Driveline in San Jose, California.. The general manager Steven gave me a call and told me Rob Roper sent me a rusted out and pitted driveline. Steven was disgusted and said I should send the driveline back and give Mr. Roper an earful. I had other intentions with the driveline and did not have him send it back. Shame on Rob Roper who is in the business of selling car parts to send out such a bad part. Rust is bad, its not rocket science.

The next placed I called is Country Boy Auto Salvage. I asked a lot of questions this time about the driveline. They told me the driveline was still in the vehicle. It was a go. I ordered the part and had that sent to South Bay Driveline. Once the part arrived Steven did his magic and presented me with a improved driveline. I am more then impressed with his work.

Leslie and Steven are good peoples at South Bay Driveline. They were constantly sincere and well knowledged and treated me with respect. Leaving with my repaired driveline I felt a sense of loneliness that my interaction with these two kind people have come to an end. Heck, I know where to find them. I can always go in an bug them about something. If any of you guys have driveline needs, South Bay Driveline is the way to go. Fast, Friendly, and extremely courteous service.

Please be wary of Roper Motor Company. You might get 18lbs of rust. Picture #4 is on top of a red brick surface, the driveline almost blends in. Bad drivelines deserved to be photographed and showed to the world. I do understand this driveline is from 1974 and very old, but he could of warned me. Could of said, "its kinda rusty, you still want it?"
