So I think this will be a better route to go, but I was wondering what all is involved since I know they had different engines and stuff. I would probably just keep the stock '80 engine for now, so what would I have to keep from the '80 to swap onto the '75 or what would I have to modify on the '75 to make work with the '80.

Also who has a '75 cab (with title) in fairly good condition that they would be willing to sell in the Northern Caliornia area? I don't have a whole lot of money right now since I'm only working part time.

And if I end up doing it, I'll have a pretty nice '80 cab for sale...

Thanks for all of the help.

It's a fairly simple swap belive it or not i used and cherry picker to do mine and i swapped a 74 onto my 76 the only modifacation i had to do was cut out the bottom of the radiator mount so the radiator would fit into place also depending if you have ac or not you will want to take out all your parts for that and rebolt and drill new places for it to go and in that 75 if it has the shelf under the glove box you will want to take that out to make room for the ac units. Other than that is is a just a little pputting back parts and relocating a few others to diffrent locations but fairly simple.
