I am new to this site, and am glad I found it. I found similar symptons from users here, and was able to repair my non working head and tail- lights with a minimum of cost and effort. My 1977 LUV has been in my family since it was built, and it is a struggle to keep it in original configuration(especially with California Emmissions Regulations). My LUV celebrated its 30th birthday in August 2007. It should now be exempt from further bi-annual inspections.
If anyone is having trouble with their Lights? Remember: Clean and inspect all Fuses and connections from the Generator Drive Belt to the Fuse Box to the Switch. Good Luck.
