i am selling my 1980 luv but before i can sell it i need to get it started but i am afraid the gas has gone stale what is the best way to get the get old gas out

You could disconnect the fuel line anywhere you want after the pump and run a hot wire to the pump and just let it pump it all out.
If you think it's only a couple gallons in it, just ad 5 fresh gallons. It'll run on it.
