Considering buying a LUV but after speaking to the owner i found out it has no A/C, never had it. Sad Not sure if i want to purchase anymore. Anyone have any info on installing an A/C system. About how much in parts would this cost? Aftermarket systems? Or if anyone has a list of parts needed.

If you need air, buy one with factory air already installed. Trying to find and install all the parts needed is not worth the trouble and nearly impossible.

There are aftermarket systems built for old Chevys and Fords. Check the net. Old Car air, Old Air, something like that. I would think they could fit one into a LUV but I'm sure they are $500 to $800.

Finding a junk LUV with air and installing it in yours is doable but it's a big job and you need to be pretty handy with tools and automotive work to do it.

it can be done but not worth the time and money best a/c i have ever had in my truck was 2d 80 2 windows down 80 miles an hour
