 Post subject: Plug wires and Mice

I have found a 78 stock luv was a farm truck and mice have eaten the plug wires if any one knows the firing order and wire lay out it would felp me reserect this truck

The firing order is 1342. # 1 is at the front of the eng. and #4 is at the rear.

#1 should be marked on the dist. cap. But it would be best to crank the eng. to #1 compression stroke and take the cap off and look at where the rotor is. That is where the #1 wire will go. The dist. rotates counter clock wise. Good luck. If the truck has been sitting a long time ( like years) you'll probably need fresh gas and maybe need to drop the tank and have it cleaned out. They tend to rust.
