Good luck. I don't think that any place makes it any more. So you will have to find something else that you can make work. I used gasket from a Chevy Celebrity on mine.

This guy is great. I just told him door seal for a Chevy LUV and he knew which one. I sent him a piece of window channel so he could match it up for us, and I am currently waiting for him to call me. I will call him next week if I don't hear from him.

JC whitney carries or distributes lots of window channel, have seen a couple that are identical profile as a LUV, just havent bothered ordering any yet. But they do exist.

For my '79 I used the following:

Window channel: JC Whitney part no. ML143542. It fit perfectly and comes in 8 foot lengths which is more than enough to do one door.

Door weatherstripping: Front door seals from a 1990 Trooper. Other years will also fit. The seals have the same cross section shape as the LUV seals and have the added advantage of having the angle for the upper door corner built in. You can find them at any wrecking lot and they should cost a lot less than aftermarket seals.

door seals $ 39.99 = s/h...not pre molded / formed corners but still a good deal.

I bought the window channel from Whitney a few years ago. It fit perfectly and has lasted very well in my 77 LUV. I think I put an article in the archives about the price and stock number. I'm really glad I got it....the windows don't rattle and they roll up and down easily.
