My back up light sockets are trash.
Has anyone ever put new sockets in our old tail light housings before?
If so, what sockets did you use?

Ron,

I did when I re-wired my truck, I just picked up new sockets from my local Checker (Kragen) in California I think. I had to enlarge the socket holes a little for them to fit but they work great.

Good luck,

Chad

Thanks. Yea, I was at Pep Boys and just looked around. Found sockets! I thought it would be harder than that. I don't know why. :?

I used a hole saw to remove good sockets from some broken housings and JB welded them to the ones with the bad sockets. Worked good for me.
