ok now git this... original column all works fine... change to just 79 hazard switch out of column but wiring from column intact and hazards work backwards ,switch has to be pulled out for off... then use one of 2 72 only hazard switch and only left turn flashes... use second 72 switch and nothing? ok now i am really stumped, is the some kind of crossover built into the column i need to make a jumper for or what? becouse only the original complet column will work everything like it should

Did the 72 have separate brake and tail lights like the european cars and if so they can be adapted to work using the trailer adapter.Just a thought.

well got it all in and working... 72 hazards needed rebuild so i cleaned them up and put back together... the tore up and old turn signal to see how the switch works and wired the new one that goes on the bottom of the column and operates by a cable and now everything works great.... guess i was just tired and not thinking right
so now i have a floor pedal for high bean turn signal in column and hazards on the E-brake...oh and all have to be hooked up to work , cant just work on one part at a time
