Here is the situation. 80 Luv was running like crap dogs. Hesitating, bogging down under throttle, almost sounding like missing. Checked plugs and wires, new cap and rotor; no luck. Decided to check timing... WAY OFF!!! Weird thing, timing mark is super inconsistent, hitting a different spot everytime! Moved timing up to what should be correct (6-8*) and the truck will barely run now and is not drivable at all. What the heck is going on? Where do I start? Is this a timing chain slip or some other instant phenomenon; it all got bad in a hurry after a few wicked burnouts one day... PLEASE HELP!
