Help, please.

Did you look under the dash? Might still have linkage attached. Some look like an eyebolt end. Make sure everything is disconnected under the dash then try a rubber mallet gently tapping aroung the vacuum pot. If that doesn't work, get a bigger hammer!

Drummer, under the dash follow your brake pedal up to the top, and you will find a clevis that hooks to the brake pedal. There should be a spring that hooks to the clevis pin, remove the spring from the clevis pin, and pull the pin out. That should be the last thing to unhook. At the factory they use a chalk compound on the booster where it mounts to the firewall. This is to keep exhaust gases from entering the cab. You will need to pry on the booster to get it loose. I know my was very hard to get off, but you will get it. Glad to hear about your new Luv, hope to see pictures, it sounds great.

Thanks, Rick...

The first day I tried to do it, it was dark, cold and rainy, and I was pissed off... The second day it was just cold, and I was able to see where the resistance was.

What's up with the brake lines being on different sides of the master cylinder on different model years?

Drummer, don't know the answer to that. I know when I am at the wrecking yard getting parts, I sure see a lot of difference's in the brake lines between years. 8O Wished I could help there, but I don't understand all there changes. :?:
