i have heard that the manual trannys come wtih a 4.56 rear and the autos come with 4.10. but i also heard the 4x4 models had the 4.10 in them. if this is true would it be a good i dea to put my 4.56 in my 4x4 for lower gear ratios? im not that familiar with rear ends so please help

Will the 4.56 gearset fit into the front axle assy? I dont know if anyone has tried it. Changing complete rear axle assy's sounds easy enough but getting the front axle to cooperate is a whole other issue.

i forgot about the front axle damn. damn. i think i wont lower just add the body lift
