Ok, I am probably 90% sure I will become the distributor of the Offenhauser intakes model # OFY-6204-CW. There are 2 other types, but I believe this is the one that most everyone is looking for. I am receiving info and specs on all 3 models. I just wanted to post this and try and get an idea of how many people would buy one when I get them in stock or how many people would be interested in one in the near future. I will most likely list some on eBay as well, but would definitely have to charge a higher price on eBay because of all the listing fees and Paypal fees. Anyone here on the LUV boards would have the better price. I am not expecting to sell thousands of these or get rich off them, but I do have to make a little for my time and efforts. I haven't got an exact price as of yet, but I can say that I would have to charge approx. $210 + shipping. Apparently the foundry now charges Offenhauser an Aluminum fee, so that would probably account for the price being slightly higher. The person I spoke with also mentioned that the fee could very well be increased for the next shipment I would get if it takes some time until I would need another order. I guess it all depends on inflation and market price on the Aluminum. Anyway, Shipping I have to check into some more and would have to see if the manifolds would fit into the flat rate box and be shipped without damage. They weigh approx. 13 lbs, so for shipping from my location to say most anywhere West Coast it was around $25 for Priority shipping without any insurance or delivery confirmation. Parcel Post was only like $3 less but would take longer. Also, it would be more if it was to be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii and less if shipped closer to me on the East Coast. Like I said, I will have to check into this more. I haven't looked into UPS shipping yet. I know someone mentioned that shipping used to be around $15, so I am hoping I can get the price to be close to that. All in all I think this is probably a pretty decent price for the manifold being it is way below retail list price and even slightly lower than shop price. I hope to just try to keep these alive and cover my expenses and investment. So if I can have a better idea of how many people are interested that would be very helpful! :) As for a timeline, probably around 6-8 weeks once I place the order. After the foundry makes them, Offenhauser has to machine them. Depending on how busy they are I guess it could be as little as 5 weeks or as long as 9 weeks lead time. After I have them in stock, there shouldn't ever be a wait. If I can sell enough and have to re-order, then I would definitely order them ahead of time. If you guys have any more questions let me know and I will try to answer. I hopefully will have all the specs on all 3 models sometime next week. I don't know what kind of demand there would be for the other 2? Probably not enough to make it worth the while. Hopefully there will be enough interest in the 6204 so I can keep these from becoming extinct! 8)

what are the 3 manifold designs?
and their part #'s, and did summit use those same #'s.
there is one still listed on summit that they havnt removed from the site.
the 6263 dual plane.
I was wondering which ones you planned on ordering and if they allowed you to get a few of each or if another 25 had to be made for each model ?

I am not very familiar with the other 2 manifolds, but he is sending me out the specs on all 3, so maybe I can scan them or take a pic and post them here for all to see. He did mention the dual plane one, so that must be the one you are talking about. I believe the other model # was the 6203. From what I gathered none of them are being produced anymore, but he did say you may come across one here or there. I am guessing I would have to get a whole other run to get the other manifolds, but I would have to double check with him on that. I am guessing that the largest interest is in the 6204 because the Webber 32/36 bolts right up to it without an adaptor and I believe this is what most people are looking for. I guess if there was enough demand for these other 2 manifolds I would consider stocking them as well, but right now I am just worrying about trying to see if I can sell enough of the 6204's. Hope this helps answer your questions. Will these manifolds work with any of the earlier model P'Ups? If anyone knows all the different vehicles these manifolds will work with besides the LUVs, please let me know so I can see if anyone is interested for those vehicles.

Thanks for making the thread a sticky. I am not sure if it would work with a 2.3? Maybe if you had adaptors? As of now all I know is they will work with the 1.8, 1.9 and 2.0 Isuzu motors. Once I get the spec sheets I will see if I can get that info posted. And I also wouldn't know about the smog legality. I am sure every city and state has it's own policy on that. I know I don't have to worry about it here. Even my 1980 trucks don't need to pass emmissions because they never had the smog stuff to begin with. But that is here in PA. I know the California models had more smog stuff and I see a lot of guys talking here on the message boards about trying to make sure their truck passes. I guess the best way to answer your question would be to ask someone on here that is from your area who uses this manifold.

Looks like a common question is what blocks with the intake fit besides the stock 1.8 liter.

Just a shipping FYI, I do shipping for my work, and Fed Ex in general is 20 percent cheaper than UPS. Plus if UPS picks up from you they charge a 10 dollar fee to do so. Try doing a shipping calcuation and compare them on their websites.
...And No I don't work for Fed-Ex or have stock with them, LOL!

Yeah, as far as I know these only fit the 1.8, 1.9 and 2.0 motors. That is what I am also trying to find out, what others would it possibily fit? As for shipping, I didn't use the rate calculator on UPS or FedEx's websites yet. FedEx may charge me too to make a stop at my house being I am out in the sticks? Like I said, I think $25 is a little high and I will check into the shipping more.

Eventually I want to use a 2.0 Block...cool!

Not sure on pickup for residental, but you can also drop packages off
at some stationarly stores.

the offy intake will fit just the g180 and the g200. the 2.3 and 2.6 had different port spacing and i think bolt spacing.

so, if you have a

76-80 G180 1.8L
81-87 G200 1.9L

then this intake will work for you.

It will do a lot of work for you...because this is a 'must have" for anyone that wants more horsepower while still getting decent gas mileage out of a 4-banger in a luv.

A luv with a 5speed, newer rear-end, delta cam, electronic ignition, impulse G200, weber carb, offy intake, and a pacesetter header is a little rip-snortin' truck that is fun as all hell to drive.

And it isn't too depressing going around kickin' little fart-can honda butts all day either...lol

I wonder if there is an adapter available for the 2.0, 2.3 & 2.6? I know the Weber 32/36 bolts right up to the manifold without an adapter and I know someone was talking about their 38/38 fitting with an adapter, so I wonder if there are adapters for this application as well?

Just a thought, you ot' to see if they could add "LUVtruck.com" to the outside of the casting! That would make'em a "Special editions"! :D
