is there any way to take a belt off a pully so the air conditioner wont turn see if it helps on deisel and power. i have a 81 2.2 deisel

I don't have a/c on my truck, but you should just be able to loosen the compressor adjusting bolt, take tension off of the belt, and slide it right off. You may or may not have to take other belts off to get it completely off though. The other belts should come off the same way.

it should have its own belt. I f not then just run to your local auto parts stor and a belt for a non ac 2.2 deilse should work.
