Do the stock trucks not have stops to keep the rims from rubbing the upper a-arms?
Both sides on mine have nearly rubbed through becuase the rims are hitting the upper a-arms. As far as I can tell the tires are the correct stock size. I dont see any stops under there anywhere.
:(
I guess I will need a set of upper a-arms or gunna need to also put in a new front end if I cant find the upper a-arms...
I really didnt want to mess with the front end if I didnt have to (except the 5 lug conversion). It already has disk brakes up front too.

What rims do you have on your truck?

nothing is written on them... just some old waggon wheels if you ask me

I dont think they had enough backspace, obviously. But the spokes on the rims are only like an inch in from the edge of the rim.

Tire size is p195 75 r14... it seems like the correct size tire...just a cheap rim

I was thinking they had too much backspacing to hit like that. The wheel should sit further out, to where the tire would hit on the frame or the cab before the wheel got into the a-arm.

There are supposed to be some stops for the steering though, though I can't recall just what the 2WD ones look like. I believe they are on the frame though, where the idler arm and pitman arm are on either side.
