whats a good after market muffler for the 1.8L. Right now i have a 2" cherry bomb on it and a cop pulled me over for having as he called it a "flatchulating muffler" :lol: :lol: , so im just looking for one that kight have a lower more rumble like tone.

Flowmaster makes a 60 series muffler for import 4's. Their website has sound clips from an Acura with a 1.8L in it. I imagine it would sound about the same.

i have the delta flow 40 series flowmaster (it's made for camaros) on mine. it sounds pretty good. not loud like the cherry bomb. i used to have one of them.i loved it. :D

Yeah, I have the CB on mine too. I get very nervous driving in town, though. Cops pulled over the last owner of my rig, and I hope it doesn't happy to me!

I have the Flowmaster 60 series, it's a decent muffler, but you have to unhook the air pump or else it will backfire and crackle all to shit. I'm pretty sure cops around my town are just picky but I got pulled over for an "loud muffler" violation. Took it to court last month and they dropped it.

Yeah i havnt been ticketed yet, i figure as long as my truck is muddy then they will pull over ricers first :twisted: . But they did just up the quota cops have to meet every month so i need to look at getting a more rumbly muffler (im shure the raspy tone is why i got pulled over).

my shit did the same thing :x then when i took my smog off i drove aroung town for 2 hours trying to make it backfire.nothing :D :D

my truck will pop perty good, i take and race it against the ricers here in town at the drag strip and when i let off the gas at the end of the 1/4 the motor will start slowing down but it will pop perty loud. I think its just the truck loading up whith fuel :roll: sounds cool and hasnt doen anything to the truck.
