the are 14mm x 1.25 mm this is actually the same thread as metric spark plugs. You can also find a ford drainplug for this size thread. You can also leave the rail intact to plug it it has a one what valve to keep the exhaust from Blowing backwards and just cap the one house inlet.
some other people cut the tup and pinch it over. others have cut the tubs and tap the tube and thread a bolt in.

That all I did was taped off The check valve with electrical tape. If you don't cap it it will siphon air in it making noise.

The easiest and cheapest fix is to cut the tubes and use a tap to thread the center of the fittings that go into the head, then put an allen bolt in each one of them, sealing each of them with a copper or brass washer to keep them from ever leaking.

It takes about a 1/2 hour to do them all and is actually hardly noticable.

I'm going to do that straightaway when I get pass vehicle inspection. The method Tazman described is a very neat one. I look forward to doing it. I want to do it right now, but I've been advised to leave all the emission devices intact until it passes inspection. I would venture to say if I looked for the plugs, I would find them rather easily, as there are several good places that would carry them. I'll be posting that info when I get to that stage. I just bought a new tap and die set yesterday, too. It was a cheap one, but it might work. ($9.99)
