Does anyone have a good idea on what to do for a dome light? My stock one is shot and i'd like to get a light in the truck somehow. The original light was the basic one that didn't use any door switches. It just had the on/off switch at the light itself. Any ideas?

I used a light intended for a boat, it is a very nice chromed metal with a sealed push switch. It is also very bright. It is used to light the inside of a boat and it mounts on a flat surface. It is made by Attwood. I fashion two small J-hooks and mounted it on one of the crossbows in the headliner. it is about 4 inches in diameter. Works great! You could hook it up to door switches.

go to a wreking yard and get one for a full sized chevy. They arent much bigger (the old ones, pre 85) and should work alright.
