Hi all...lots of info on where to get the stuff, and I already got it, BUT there is no instruction on how to install it. I mean, I know how to put it IN, but which way? The seal seems "directional" , and the main part looks like a comma in profile. Which way should it bend? I will try with symbols here.

I=door edge
|=cab edge
)=seal profile...

is it like this> I)|

OR like this > I(|

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

should look like this. Kind of backwards form what you would think. In my opinion. I stripped all mine off then when the new stuff came in I was scratching my head. Luckily I had another truck I could look at.

Gs11x says, "Kind of backwards from what you would think." That's kinda what happened when I did mine. You want that lip to touch the body and make the seal against the outside. I've talked a lot about how I did it. I posted photos on page 2 of my thread, "FullaLuv's LUV". I highly recommend you remove the doors one at a time to do the clean up of the old weatherstripping, as well as for painting the area. I used a brass wire wheel on a drill motor for my clean up, and gave it a couple coats of paint before putting on the weatherstripping. Take your time and don't rush. when you put the doors back, you will have some time where they don't shut well, but as long as they shut leave them closed for a couple days and then they should work just fine.

Thanks guys. But my weatherstripping doesn't look anything like the pics in post # 1, so it's still hard to tell.

Fallaluv, you bought the same stuff I did, can you post a pic similar to the ones in post # 1?

Thanks!
