I live in oklahoma and we have just had a bad (for us) ice storm. My luv wont start now. Ive replaced the battery and the fuel filters. I pulled the fuel line up by the engine and i get no fuel coming out of the line. Is it possable that the fuel lines have frozen or is it possable that the pump near the engine is frozen? Im kind of at my wits end...im missing dates and work. Anyone have advice? It worked fine before the ice storm came just as an fyi.

Ive tested at the fuel pump near the tank and the pump is working but fuel isnt getting to the engine i believe there is either a blockage or ice in the metal section under the truck. Any ideas how to get rid of that situation?

If you are getting fuel out of the pump but not out at the carb then it has to be blocked somewhere in between. I have not had to deal with frozen fuel lines before but here is basically what I'd try: Take the line loose at the fuel pump and the carb, get yourself a heat lamp or hairdryer and warm the fuel line up starting back near the pump. The water/ice should be sitting in the lowest point of the line or in any dips. Thaw it out and keep trying to blow it out from the carb end. An air compressor would work well for that. If you make it all the way up to the carb then it must have something more solid than ice blocking the line.

Just remember, water sinks in gas. Your ice will be in the low spots. You could even have some in the carb bowl so warming it up wouldn't hurt
