I just recently bought another 79 LUV, and it has a chrome rear bumper. I have never seen one before, and besides a little ding that can probably tapped out, its in great condition. I was just wonderin if anyone has one or ever seen one. I'll try and get some pics up as soon as I can

Is it the step bumper or like a passenger car style. LUV's came with either I think.

Both my trucks have the step bumpers... the 78 non Mikado is painted grey and the 80 Mikado is chrome. Other then the chrome the 2 are the same.

Passenger car style? I haven't seen one of those before. I was thinking about using a front bumber on the rear as well for the looks.

If anyone has pictures of the original passenger car style bumber I would love to see a picture.

I will try to scan in a better pic of it if I have one, the bumper is the same shape as the front one. Not sure what models came with it, I got mine from a junkyard in the late 80's.

me and my dad have done everythin to the truck, whenever I can get my neighbors camera I'll take pics of the backend. We welded the tailgate shut, welded in my rollpan, and right now we have the passenger side caddy tail welded in. Plus I'll get some pics of the new buick v6 I just got

Thanks for the pics Luvrv8.

Sometimes I get tunnel vision. I figure since I was thinking about the front bumber of my truck (a '75) that everyone else would be too. lol.

The bumber does look good. I also got a kick out of your rearend. Dude, I haven't seen anything narrower. It's almost as tall as it is wide... lol

Thanks again,
Eric Q.
