I think I may have found the holy grail of stock parts for Isuzu Pup/Luv

I know that the truck is an 81 but all the same that shifter console looks like it's factory stuff.

The only other one I've seen live was in an 81-82 LUV. The parts manual shows one as a special Mikado w/bucket seats option in earlier models though. The picture in the book shows one identical to the auto console only with a boot in the square hole. I've got my old auto shifter console in the 77 with no boot in it, and it looks like it was made to fit.

That one in your picture looks a little different shaped, but I wonder how well it would fit into a truck 1980 or older. Might be interesting to try it. I'm putting the console out of my 88 Impulse into my 77 though. Bucket seats so I can go all the way back, and I want the e-brake handle.

When I had a stock 80 in 87, it had the stock manual shifter counsel and it was a mikado with bucket seats.

since there was never a console for the 4x4's I'm working on getting ahold of the shifter console out of a 1991-1997 Rodeo or Amigo, here's a pic of what it looks like this

Not really, all of the manual transmission Rodeo's had them, only the XS Amigos got them though. Just a matter of finding a wreaked 4x4 manual tranny Rodeo(not too many of those here in N. AZ, Phoenix area has plenty I'm sure.

What about trooper consoles? I bet one from an early trooper could work. And then if its was an EFI you could leave the computer in it and say its for cloaking device...

hmm, not sure on that haven't really looked too much at the Trooper consoles becasue i though they were connected to the dash is some form or another. I like the Rodeo/Amigo setup in that it's a unit by it's self that can compliment the center console that I have already have(and i like, can't complain about 4 cup holders, built in change holder and tons of storage space) I'll take a look at it and see what all can be done.

edit: Meep do you mean the Gen 1 center console?? if so I'm looking for something to cover up my ugly ass shift boots that I made( I hate 3" body lifts in that regard  )

First gen troops don't really have much of a shifter console, unless they are automatics. The center console between the seats from a troop would be too tall for a LUV, the seats sit about 6 inches higher so the thing would end up being an armrest.
