I have replaced the weatherstripping, but still get rattles when I hit bumps, potholes etc... It seems to be coming from the locking mechanism and the door striker. Any fixes for this? I see that there is a shimmy piece in the striker piece, but the rattle seems to be a in and out rattle, not a up and down rattle if that makes any sense. Any help would be appreciated. RF

Are the windows up or down ? I have a windown mechanism rattle, or something of the sort when I have the windows down, but they are not snugged into the stoppers. . .

Move your strikers out a bit, did it to my old luv and they were nice n' snug, they latched perfect to, as good as a brand new car.

How do I move the striker out? Is there a kit that you can buy the slim metal shims in? Thanks, RF

loosen up the screws that hold them in place, then move them outwards an 1/16" every time.
