I just rebuilt my carb using a GP-Sorensen kit and the factory service manual. I did all the adjustments according to the book. It runs fine on a level area but when you head downhill it acts like it's running out of gas. I look at the sight glass on the float bowl and you can barely see gas through the window. The book says it should be between the marks but I have no marks, just a dot in the center of the glass. Can anyone tell me where these marks are supposed to be???

Just adjust the float as close as you can get to the dot. Basically the center of glass.
