whooohoo! i'm finally on! couldnt get a conf. email at my yahoo address.anyway im looking to purch. a luv in my area,both 76's.the owners say they idle but die when you try to accelerate.one blames it on ethanol. sound familiar to anyone?

had that problem before turned out to be a fuel filter clogged

Sounds like it could be the accelerator pump in the carb.

thanks, hopefully its simple.the one I want is about 120 mi. away. ill probably just go for it and dolly it home, the price is right!
