I am still out of stock on them and am not sure when I will order more. It all depends on how many people want one. Right now I only have about 5 people who want one, if they even still do. If I add you dirtylil77 and another for easyhour that would hopefully put me at 7 interested persons. If I get about 15 or so I will probably do another run. The first run I had around 20 people who said they would take one, but when the time came that I had the manifolds in stock there were only 6 or 7 who actually took one. Anyway, if anyone else is interested in a manifold now or in the next few months, please let me know so I have an idea. I want to talk to Offy again and see if the foundry will let them split an order. I know there were a couple guys that were interested in the dual plane manifold for their 4x4 since I guess it is better on the low end and I think there were some Aussie guys that were interested in the dual plane? I am not sure if there would be enough interest anyway in the dual plane manifolds? The 6204 for the Weber carb seems to be the most popular. I don't think I would order a whole run of dual plane anyway if I had to, but if I could do a half and half order, I just might. The last time I talked to Offy he said he would have to check with the foundry to see if they would do this. Anyway, when I see there is enough interest I will place another order. This time around the wait time should be less since I am already a customer of Offy and am in good standing with them. Also with the economic slowdown, they would be getting the machining done faster as well. The last time I talked to him he said that instead of 6 or 7 weeks like last time, it would be more like 4 weeks this time around if things are still slow. He also mentioned that they increased prices in January, so next time I place an order the manifolds will cost a little more. How much I don't know, I guess I will find out when I order more. Anyone who is interested in a manifold, let me know and once I get some more info on what the status of another order is, I will keep everyone updated.

I really want one of those offenhauser intakes. I just bought a weber 38 DGES and need an intake to go with it so you can count me in! I got the pacesetter header with a flowmaster, ordered a gilmer pulley set and lookin' into a pertronix electric ignition.

Thanks for letting me know. I sent you a PM also. There are probably about 8 people interested right now.

I wanted to let everyone know that I talked to Offy on Monday and I asked him if I would be able to do a split run. He informed me that the foundry would be willing to bend a little and do this being they are very slow due to the economy. I would still have to have the full run ordered, but I will be able to split it. I know there were a few guys who have 4x4's that wanted the dual port intake and I believe there were some Aussie guys interested in the dual port as well. Now I don't think the foundry will go for a whole mixed up run of all different types, so I am thinking that keeping this to the 6204-CW and the dual port will work out. These seem to be the most popular anyway and the design is similar so it shouldn't be too hard for them to cast this split run. I also want to let you guys know that there was a price increase. I actually thought it was in January '09, but he informed me that the price increase was in January '08. He said he would hold the price for me at the January '08 price which is about a 10% increase. My guess is that the foundry raised the prices due to the rising price of metals last year. I guess we got lucky and got that first run ordered and in just under the gun in November '07. I don't know what the exact price is yet, but I will be able to let everyone know once I get an order placed with Offy. Roughly I am guessing the intakes will be around $238 + shipping and insurance. Now what I need to confirm is exactly what dual port intake was the one of interest? After looking at the scans again of the info sheets Offy sent me, I am guessing it is the 6203-DPW dual port. This manifold will work with the Weber 32/36 as well and is for the '76 and later LUV. He didn't recommed the one for the Holley carb because it is hard to install because it has to be turned around or something, but I don't think anyone wants the one for the Holley anyway since the Weber seems to be the most popular. There is also a dual port manifold for the stock carb, but once again, I don't think that most people would want that one either. Anyway, let me know what everyone is interested in so we are sure on what dual port intake I will be needing to order. There is another picture of a dual port model that someone sent me a while back that I am not really sure what type it is. It is somewhere back in the thread, but I will post it here so maybe someone can let me know what one it is. Also here is the info sheet scan and pics of the dual port 6203-DPW.

This is the pic of the manifold I am not sure on. It is a dual port, but doesn't look like it works with the Weber.

Moka,
Yeah, the 6203-DPW is the one I am after.

Also, that would appear to be a 4bbl dual port.

Hey Moka, Is the 6204 or 6203 the one you ordered in the first batch?
I bought one from the first batch. Wish I would have know about the dual plane one.
Either way thought, much better than stock intake and stock carb. :D

Thanks for letting me know what that other dual plane intake was. I didn't think it was what we were looking for anyway. I believe the 6203-DPW for the Weber 32/36 is the dual plane that most would be interested in. And Zane, yeah, the first run I ordered was the 6204-CW. I wasn't able to order a split run like this before, so I went with the popular intake. I don't even know if I will be able to do this in the future or not? But I figured since there are a few people who showed some interest in the dual plane intake and that if Offy says the foundry would let me, then I would split the run. I told him a couple months ago when I spoke with him that I would do a half run sooner if I could do that, but he said that the foundry probably wouldn't do that since they like to have the full batch done. Being the dual plane isn't too much more different I think the foundry is bending a little and will allow it as long as I order the full run since things are very slow. I am sure it will still be a couple months or so yet before I do anything since I want to see how many are interested in manifolds. I said to Tay when I spoke with him Monday that I was hoping by Summer I could have another order placed. So anyone who wants a dual plane intake, now is your chance as I am not sure if they will let me do a split run like this in the future or not? Time will tell I guess. Any of the Aussie guys out there looking at this thread? I think they had the most interest in the dual plane manifold. The only problem there is the shipping is outrageous since there is no more surface/economy shipping anymore. The best way is Global Priority. I sent one intake to Australia last year via Global Priority and it was about $300 total for everything, so with the price increase and the Postal Service increase a couple months ago, it would probably be around $320 - $325 total now for Australia. I think it was about $50 - $55 using Global Priority last time, but that is way cheaper than Express and FedEx and UPS. It also would get there a little quicker than the old Surface/Economy they used to offer. Anyway, anyone who might be interested now or in the coming months, let me know what kind of intake you would want so I know how to split the run when I place the order.

Hey Moka, I am still very intrested in the offey intake. I have a weber DGES 38 so I need the one that works with that. Off the subject, I am looking at a set of wheels that are 17" 6 on 5.5 pattern with a back spacing of 4.5, that should work on my 76 2WD right? The seller says they will fit GM's Escalade, Silverado, ect. Before I buy them I just need a little more input so any would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

I am not sure if that Weber will fit directly with these intakes. My guess is if they don't fit directly, you can probably get an adaptor or fabricate an adaptor to make it work. Maybe someone who has this carb can chime in and let you know for sure. On the wheels, I have no idea if they will work. I have only all stock rims on my trucks right now, so I haven't a clue. Maybe you should ask this question in a different thread where someone would notice it.

Yeah, I found out that those wheels do not have the positive offset that i need for brake n' caliper clearence. As for the offey, I think it'll work with the 38 DGES if it works with the 32/36 DGEV, they should have the same slot spacing for the studs. If not, I will make it work... In the mean time I will do some research to find out the adaptability.

I was one of the ones that said i'd buy one from the first run. I have not been able to get online in quite a while so. I did get my luv running again but i probably messed up the carb by letting the fuel sit in the tank for so long, luckily i have a new 38dgas to add with the manifold. I'm pretty sure i was interested in the dual plane manifold if thats a possibillity. I've replaced my burned out elec. ignition with a crane cams xr700 system, msd wires and accell coil. what a difference that made even with the carb spittin and smokin, cant wait to get this thing runnin smooth again. I'll keep checking in on your progress

Thanks for letting me know. I do remember you I think. Was your old nick secondhand81luv? If you wanted a dual plane manifold, then you are in luck this time around. If you want me to put you down for one, let me know so it helps me know how many are interested. I am not asking for a definite commitment, just as long as I know if anyone wants one now or in the future. Right now I have approx. 10 people who want one. If maybe 5 to 7 more people are interested then I would decide how many dual plane to have done and then I would place the order with Offy. I think there are maybe 3 or 4 who are interested in a dual plane, I am really surprised there are not more because I thought there was a little bit of interest there, especially with the Australian guys, but it really wasn't enough for a full run then. Now that Offy is saying the foundry will bend a little and allow a split run because of the slowdown, it will be possible. Thanks for letting me know and if there is anyone else interested, let me know or send me a PM. I will post more details when the time comes that I place the order.

If you want to PM me with your e-mail address so I have it in case, that would be great and then I would have your info if you do end up needing one. Thanks for letting me know and I am still about 5 or 6 people short of where I would like to be to place the order with Offy. I am hoping sometime over the Summer, but it all depends on the interest. I will update everyone when I get closer to placing the order.

So far not much more to say. Interest has waned over the last few weeks. I have one more interested over the last month, so I am still looking to have a few more people who want a manifold before I go forward. Unless a few people decide they want one, it might be looking more like Autumn before I place an order with Offy. Anyone who is interested or will be in the near future, drop me a PM with your info and e-mail address. I will be sure to report more when I get closer to ordering. Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!

Well so far there isn't quite enough people who want a manifold yet. It is starting to look more like maybe Autumn or later unless a few more people want one in the near future. I have your e-mail address. I forget what type you were interested in though? The 6204-CW or the 6203-DPW dual port? You can PM me with what one you are interested in so I know for when the time comes to order.
