There is a good chance that you left the e brake on for a long time, several rains and weather changes the brakes bonded to the drums. I have sometimes been able to rock it back and forth to free them.

Did just that. I rocked it back and forth, tried up and down.. lol, but then put it into reverse, gave it a little tug, put it in first and they broke free. Cruised around my block and the truck is as amazing as I remember it. YAYYY!!!! Another Luv success story. And yes, I left the ebrake on for several months in my driveway as it's sloped. I'll avoid using the ebrake for a while.

I need to still figure out where this short is that I've had for so long though. Went out to start it this morning and it barely had any juice. Had to jump it. Left it running, drove around town for 30-40 minutes and stopped at a store. Turned it off. Tried starting it, and it would barely turn over. I didn't have any problems yesterday with it starting up, even hours after I had last started it, which leads me to wonder if I'm having a charging issue with the alternator or something..

*sigh* who's next with helpin!

thats pretty weird, is the remote wire not connected right? it should only be on when the stereo is on

my stereo got fried a while back, so maybe it's thinking it's on all the time? I ensured the remote wire wasn't directly connected to the battery, and it's wired into the wiring harness for the stereo. so idk lol.
