ok im gonna go against what alot of ppl said about the torsion bars. i do think they did have a hand in this but i don't think its completly there fault when u put ur truck up on a jack the tires move straight down pretty even i have never seen them lean in that much. and if the path of the a arms is straight down when u lift it with a jack it should be the same path as when u lift ur truck with torison bars. like i said i could be wrong. i think it might have been to stiff and bent the lower a arm up and out like i can't remember who said it now but i know somebody did.

I I unbolted everything today, removed shocks, and took un hooked the tie rod's and ball joint son both sides. I lifted the upper control arm to where it SHOULD be, and that allows the wheel to straigthen, but I cant hook it up becuase the bolt on the ball joint is to short, which tells me the lower control is down to low, right? the tie rod's seem to be to long, which also hints the lower arm is to far down.

It does sounds like the lower a arms were bent up and out. Now I think you can make some headway. By the looks of the shocks, the upper a arm might have gotten away without being too badly damaged. But, this also means the lower a arms are going to be headed for the scrap pile. Keep the posts coming, and good luck.

Ok. Maybe you should try going to a Chevy dealership to see if you can get an exploded version picture of the front suspension. See if you can get an idea of what it looked like originally.

The left lower control arm is bent a little, which is why the left tire leans a little, still havent figured out why the right is leaning so bad, unlees the frame is still twisted, which is what i'm beginning to believe. I did get the right side fixed though , by removing the upper control arm, and bolting it on the outter side of the shocktower. I'm going to buy a used lower arm, to fix the left.
