I also have a 1980 chevy luv and so far I have done an oil change, replaced the air filter, fuel filter, bondoed it, and getting it ready for paint. But that will have to wait because now I have a messed up carburator that I am now trying to rebuild. If you need to replace the brakes, and one of the calipes are stuck, try getting a new master cylinder, which is dirt cheap. I got mine repaced and it was filled with rust and dirt. Good luck with the truck, and if you have any advice on anything let me know and I'll give you advice on anything I find out. Good luck with the truck and hopefully you get lucky and get it started. One more bit of advice, it's hard to find parts for the truck, and I am still trying to find a site or someting that can get me parts, and I'm having no luck. Later.
