 Post subject: moisture

Has anyone had trouble with moisture in dist. Mine sets in a garage an get moisture in dist., any ideas on how to fix this?

I have seen this but however never heard of a cure, anytime metal gets close to or below freezing it sweats. Also condensation and moisture just in the air can lead to this. Maybe someone else can inform you of a cure...

If your cap is not vented you can drill a 3/16 hole between the tirmanils that will let air flow

If it sets in the garage for long periods pull the cap loose,as for drilling it that can be done to but i would use no more than 1/16" and drill down low

WD40 also helps control moisture and it is not a insulator. Just spray it inside the cap.
