i have a cable clutch 4 speed i believe it a 81 tranny.....anyways i dont have the drive yoke that goes into the tranny and i need to know if the splines are any different for the 78 through 82 luvs.....like i counted 18 splines on the tranny........so my question is is there 18 teeth on the tranny for the 78-82 cable clutch :?: :?: :?: luvs

HUh. If I end up replacing the crankshaft i could have that info for ya because I'd be removing the driveline, tranny, and flywheel. That won't be for a week at least.

when i put the 77 luv tranny in my 84 pup, i had to put the luv yoke on the pup driveline to make it work.

so if your going with a later model trans, youll need the later model yoke also. the u joiny is the same though. so you can just put the later model yoke on your early model luv driveline.

its a 18spline yoke and i need it this is my daily driver down still yet so does anyone got one
