ok so my heater dosent work and with school starting in 6 days im gonna want it fro the morning drive to school. i took the blower motor/fan out and touched the wires to the battery so i know it works. and the fuse is good and has power to it. i dont know where else to look. could that little resistor thing have gone bad or what? when i hooked a test light the 2 speed switch for controling the high/low speed of the fan i got nothin. so could this be my problem or do i just need to run new wires off the fuse bix to my heater? any help is great as i dont want to drive to school wrapped in 10 blankets.

I don't know anything about the heater system as far as electrical, I've never had to tear into mine. But at least temporarily, you could run wire from a fused source then through a toggle switch and to the fan. That should give it power and it would have 2 speeds.... on or off.

You might have power to the fuse, but no power getting out from the fuse. LUV fuse blocks are notorious for being the weak link of the electrical system.

Use the test light at the bottom of the fuse block at the wire to make sure. Like Blue Meanie said the fuse could be bad but look good or be dirty contacts.

OK... Check the 5th fuse of the fuse block. On the bottom side of the block at that fuse will have 2 wires. The aft connection is the blower wire. Check the connection, clean it and pull the fuse and clean the tabs that hold it in place. You might want to squeeze the tabs together a bit to make sure that they'll hold the fuse in really good.
Try this and see if it helps.

ok i think i found the problem.the blue wire that runs off the blower fan runs behin the heater assemblie but wasnt hooked up to anything. so i was looking for a wire that it could be hooked to but non was found then i notcied a connector that had the same wire color as the one i needed. the owner before me clipped the bloer wire to hav juice runnin to the stereo (which they took out when i bought it) obviously he was willin to freeze to have his music...lol. but i need to go to wally world and get more fuses to check if indeed that was the stolen wire. if my uess is correct that is the wire as it is the ony wire in the buch of them used for th stero that is old. the rest are obviously a lot newr than the blue one in question. hopefully that is the problem. thanks to everyone for your support and help.
