Ok so I got pulled over last night and told that my brake lights weren't on. It would seem that with my headlights on the brake lights don't turn on nor doing the rear running lights stay on. I know my turn signals are dead, it will come on when the head lights are off, but it doesn't flash and it doesn't come on with the head lights on. Any ideas? I figure first things first a new flasher thingy.

Second question. Has anyone replaced the stock gauge lights with somethign brighter? I can barely see the speedo and the light over my temp gauge is out.

and my finaly question(this is a 2 parter) I was having an overheating problem so I replaced my thermostat with a 160degree one. Now my over heating is gone, in fact she runs noticable under teh little line on the stock gauge. However when my lights are on the temp starts to slowly creep up towards too hot. Any idea what could cause this?

Sounds like you have some wiring issues, has your truck sustained any wiring damage?

The fuse box is the biggest wiring problem of all with LUV trucks. Even if the fuses look good, the connections turn into crap as the truck gets older.
Start with the fuse box. I'll bet most of the problems are right there.
