can anyone tell me where the back up light switch on a 1972 truck is ? it must be somewhere where it can connect to a stock tranny right?

The switch is on the stock tranny. The wires come down from the firewall behind the motor.

the switch is on the left side of the transmission about mid way up towards the rear. you can test it by unplugging it and plugging the 2 tires into each other>>>> if the lights light up then its the, if not then there is something in the wiring or the light bulbs
