I had heard about such a thing and finally found out how to order these. I ordered one of these for my Camaro and my LUV about a week and a half ago and it came in yesterday. It has some interesting information for the stock truck crowd. I will provide the info I got on how to order it as posted on thirdgen.org

Quote:
If any of you would like a restoration packet from GM for your Camaro I'll let you in on how to get one.

Here's who you need to send the info to:
cac@chevrolet.com
Here's the info you need to provide:

1. Your VIN
2. Mailing Address
3. Day and evening phone number

What you will get is a booklet with Past Model Information and another packet with Year Specific Information.

The specs booklet is very detailed it include all types of info from curb weight to individual components weights. Dimensions, order options, RPO's and all kinds of other info.

The past year info is basically a list of parts suppliers and the year specific is the part you are probably looking for if you order one of these. It doesn't give you items specific to your VIN (like an invoice or build sheet), but more like dealer brochure and that type of info. But it's kinda cool for the price FREE!!!!!

I'll get one for the Blazer as well.
I'm sure my brother has seen it on thirdgen. He has an 88 GTA (WS6 Trans Am).

Roadshow Bob,
I have a 92 B4c Camaro for sale. This car is like brand new show room condition. It has 9,043 miles on it. I bought the car new. I know everything is original on this car. I have all the paperwork including the window sticker and build sheet. Car has only been driven to car shows. Never in rain or snow.

I need money to finish restoring my Luv truck

Ike

Ike,
if i had money i'd be all over that... but if you are looking to sell it... thirdgen.org has a rather active classified board.... just a thought.
