 Post subject: headlight buckets

does anybody know where i can find those little fastner clips that fit and hold the light bucket into the frame at the bottom they are white i know i can find a work around but i would like to try and find those little clips

I'm headed to the junkyard tomorrow and will check on these for ya.. new is best, but used is alright. I'll let ya know what i find

thanks bob I really appreciate that I was at a junk yard in my area and the ones I saw were so dried up they just came apart and by the way I received the money for the manuals. have you check ebay lately a lot of manuals for sale

I had the same luck at the junkyard. those that were there just crumbled. Glad ya go the money and I've been watching the manuals on ebay but not ready to get more just yet. Anywho, maybe one if the many Washington LUV'rs can help you out with some of these little buggers.

I'll have a look around my yard and see what I find as well. I've never had to deal with them, so I really haven't noticed the condition that any of the ones I have are in. I've been putting together a list of parts to figure out how to refurbish or recreate, so perhaps this would be another to add to that. Right now the big one is the plastic visor brackets.

Speaking of visor brackets, hopefully I will find out this week about mine from the machine shop. Trying to get some machined out of aluminum...but not paying for them kinda puts me (and keeps me) on the back burner...
