How do you remove JUST the face / cover of the instrument panel.
Speedo, temp, oil etc I only need to remove the oblong panel.

I want to recover my dash cap and use the clove box and instrument panel bezel as the front mounting/ hold down point.

The instruments come out as a unit. You'd have to break stuff to get the guages out of the faceplate I believe. There are three wingnuts on the back that hold the whole works in in. Two on the side by the vent, one in the middle of the point on the other end. Feel around up under there and you should eventually find them. Its not that hard, probably harder to explain than to just do.

Yep... really easy. like 800xl said just feel around in those areas and you'll find them. Then just unhook the speedo cable and the wiring plug.
