Pull your plugs. They will tell you if you have a water problem. Also do a compression check. That will let you know if a head gasket is the cause.

Only at start up is a bit strange for a headgasket, but not impossible. I wonder if maybe there could be a problem in the intake gasket, or even a crack somewhere in the intake manifold that allows a drip to get through when it is sitting. Could be just a very slight head gasket problem too though, and it sorta seals back up after things warm.

About all you can do is retorque the head bolts and pray it lasts a while if it is the head gasket. Look around the sides of the block for traces of water leaking (white ashy sort of leak trails), keep an eye on water levels and look for oil in the water, and check the oil often for signs of water in it as well. If you pull the dipstick and has changed from black to grey, it has water in it. Also you can usually find some signs of this on the oil filler plug too.
