need help on how to tighten up the a/c belt on my 79 luv.

Sorry you didn't get an answer sooner. I thought someone would know. I had to look under the hood of my 80 LUV. My AC compressor runs by itself straight off the crank pulley. There is an idler pulley that can be adjusted to take up the slack.
