The fuel isnt going to my carb. Heres my setup
Gastank>hose>filter>hose>pump>hose>steel line>hose>filter>hose>Carb

I took the hose off where it connects to the steel line and turned on the fuel pump and got some fumes but no gas. I then replaced fuel filter which has less than 1K miles on it, but I thought maybe I got some bad gas. When I took the old filter off..there wasn't much fulid that came out of the hoses on either side of the filter. A few years ago, I had the Gas tank boiled out and sealed. I am thinking there are only two possibillties left. The fuel pump is no longer pumping (Its a generic pump installed when I first got the truck) or theres a plug in the fuel tank line.

If you hear the pump running, then replacing it makes sense, but I'd blow air into the tank first. Air is free.

Ifd this is a carbed car I would pure a little gas in there. Just to make sure its a fuel proplem.

Is gas being squirted into the carb when cycled. If no gas maybe float bowl is empty. Needle vavle stuck closed or no fuel from pump.

Disconnect the out put from pump turn truck on, out put should have large amount of gas come out.
If this is a manual pump esp the generic pumps make sure the folonic spacer installed. sometime people forget these and wipeout the arm of the pump.

If electric make sure its on . If it works you should see gas being squirted in the carb from the accelerator pump.

be careful

if this is injected I dont know.

On some of the fuel pumps there is a fuel filter inside of the pump that you have to take out because they dont sell them anymore, take the fuel pump off and there should be an end cap on it where the ground wire is hooked up too. (if you have not already checked this). Shane

I added some new gas along with some gas stabalizer. I'll try the Air idea
thanks. As far as the fuel pump, its kinda of a cube shaped one, and is a sealed unit.

Be sure to take the gas cap off, so you can hear the air bubbling. If it does. Sounds like you have a similar pump to mine. Have you tried hot wiring the pump?

I took the Air nozzel and blew into the tank. After I did that the pump worked and pumped some gas out (open line) I connect the line.
Ran the truck, and then it started to sputter. So I going to have to pull the gas tank now. But Robertcda saved me from buying another fuel pump.

If it were my tank and I was pulling it, I'd put a self-tapping oil pan drain in one of the corners. That way I could flush it myself on the truck. Glad I saved you some money.
