 Post subject: engine weight

K guys you all helped me figure out about how much a tranny weighs but now i need to know how much the stock engine ways...well actually need to know how much a 1.9 isuzu weights but i imagine they are pretty close. I need to know weight without fluids and without carb/intake/exhaust/dist. attached. THX in advance!

how far away is the engine you want to pick up?

dont worry yourself wheresalltheluvat im paying big buckaroos to have it shipped from the east coast...thats why im selling my engine to you, so i can TRY and recoop. Its a 1.9 liter, im trying to get a bit more power...

the weight of the engine itself is 311 lbs
thats with everything

i found it at this website along with a list of engines

the head weighs about 30-40lbs if that

hope this some what helps ya

i got the old 1.8 sitting in the bed of the 80 i can go out there and try to pick it up and give you an estimate, but 311 lbs. sounds about right.
