hi i want to put an oil pressure gauge on my truck and was woundering how much they are and how hard they are to put on. does it take a lot of work to do? i would also like to know how to hook a tac up to so i can see what my rpms are. how hard is that to do? does it take much work? thanks for reading

on both of my engines, there is a peice on the lower front (not the very front, on the side, but towards the front) passengers side of the block, just right above the oil pan, that is were the oil pressure guage hose plugs into. it has a long clear small plastic hose that goes all the way to the gauge. the thing on the block is hex shaped, takes like a 5/8 wrench, and sticks out like 1" to 2", and it has a little fitting coming off at an angle for the hose. for the tack, put one wire on the distributer pole, i thinik it is the ground pole, just a little thing on the side of the distributer were a wire attatches to. then a wire to a light power source, and a power source that comes on with the key, and a ground. that is it. all of that should take like an hour or so, at best. have fun adn good luck.
