I've got a 3 inch shackle lift on the back and the torsion bars are turned to level it out. Can I fit LT235/75R15 tires under it without having to modify anything else? I'm also looking for some cheap 15"X7" or 8" wheels that are pretty deep so my tires will kind of poke out the side. Will everything work? Thanks

i think 235s wouldn't be much work to fit...they're roughly 28". i have them on my pickup right now, but they're mounted on 5.5" rims. i'd save the 8" or bigger rims for something like a 31" or 33" tire

i have 28x8.50r14s on my LUV right now whith about 1.5" of lift on the front and 2" on the back, i also cut the back side of the fenders a bit (took about a 1" wide strip out of the bottom). I dont rub normally driving, only when the truck stuffs one front tire. The rear dosnt rub at all.

by the way tire sizes like 235 75 15 what those numbers mean

the 235 is the width of the tire in mm

the 75 means it is 75 percent of the width of tire

and of course the 15 is diameter of the wheel

so if you were desperately looking for a 185 75 14 and nobody had one

you could go with a 195 70 14 to get you by they would almost be

identical except width perty much same heighth though just thought i d

throw this in here

oops i forgot to add, on the 75 percent one i mean that makes up for the heighth of tire so it goes width / heighth / diameter of wheel :)

Thanks for the tip, guess I might've mentioned before though that I work in the Wal-Mart Tire & Lube Express selling tires all day. . .So I know a little about tire sizes. . .But the thought counts.. Thanks.
