My LUV backfires something fierce when I let up on the throttle. When I disconnect the airpump it seems to stop. Anyone have a similar experience? Solutions?

mine did that and i had the 2 big hoses coming out of the air pump switched. i switched them back and it stopped. the valve by the back of the air pump could be bad. or the vacuum line going to it might not be hooked up.

its going to backfire with all the smog stuff on there. take it all off and plug the vacuums. save it all and when you have to pass emissions put it back on. :lol: thats what i do :lol: then take it back off :lol: it doesn't take long
your luv will run better anyways without all that shit on there.

where are you located???? i'm in the springs and tilted is in the denver area..
