 Post subject: Transmission Picture

I am in the middle of removing my tranny and transfercase without removing the engine. But i Do not have a book yet . Where i Live in michigan it will take autozone 4 to 5 days to get it. Does any one have a picture from there book on what needs to be done to do this. Can you please post it or email what ever you can to help me out till I get my book. Thanks again.

What year is your truck? I still have the factory manual from my '80 that I got rid of.

I removed my stock 4x4 tranny from my 80 Luv. I had to remove the rear
mount bracket and then I ended up disconnectin the exhaust from the
manifoild. Plus I removed the clutch. I had to rotate the tranny to get it out. I ended up putting a tropper tranny and a removealbe crossmember.

I have a 79 4x4. Is their any transmissions that will work for the 4x4 that is almost a direct bolt in ? Thanks
