Well, I'm digging into the steering and discovered that my '77 idler arm is worn and thus allows a bit of loose play/movement in the rest of the steering system. I think it is too much to get a good front tire alignment. I've been looking all around for another but no luck. Any body have one for sale in good condition? Or, can anyone tell me where to get one? Thanks Don

Mytmouz.......Who did you get it from? I've been seeing ads for 1980's but they don't specify 1977. I figured it wouldn't fit. Glad to hear about yours .....I found several bushings for the idler arm body. Some were pretty expensive and others were reasonable. So, I just bought one from a fellow in Montana who says he has about 400,000 parts and a whole load of LUV parts. I BSed with him on the phone for 45 minutes or so. Seemed like a straight up guy...........Yet I'll look up the '82 Isuzu truck models and probably get one. I wonder what's the difference 'tween a 76 and 77 LUV. Thanks.....Don

Thanks Frige.....I saw that model online but it looked a little different in shape so I was leery of it even though Mytymous said his worked. The original has a grease zerk at it's lower end. I ended up repairing the one I had.
