My 73 had ALL of the hoses Rotten on them. I mean the only hoses that were on the truck were those that were trapped under the screws of the clamps. No vacuum lines at all, and no air filter, nuttin. So I have to pull my junque out of the bone yard.

In fact, my 73 had hte hoses cut and rot in the same breath, so a vacuum dfiagram would help. There is not one that is worth a can of beans in Chilton's or Haynes Books, So I would appreciate if someone got under the hood over the weekend and traced one and pasted it up ere.

I wish they did since it is the meat and veg's of the engines. They either run right or rough.

mine was smoking cause of the PCV valve, it was letting oil into the intake manifold, the hose was all deteriorated cause of the oil. i just plugged off the line and no more smoking. i also have a pretty good vacuum line diagram from my chevy shop manual. PM me your email address and i'll either scan or take a digital picture of it. my haynes manual shows nothin as far as vacuum and emmssion lines go. thats the reason i bought a chevy shop manual off ebay.

I am upset cause I have not got it started yet. It has been sitting since 84. I have to take the heads off and look at the pistons and make sure theyre not rusty.
