Hi everybody. I have a weber on my 79. frequently while driving, the motor act like the choke is coming back on. Is the choke cover bad(electric)? Or maybe the carb has a bad ground? I have dealt with electric chokes before, but never experienced this before. Thanks.

Do you have a fuel pressure regulator to reduce the fuel pressure below 3psi max that Weber recommends? If not your stock pump puts out 4-7psi & there's a good chance it's flooding your carb.
The electric choke engages via the electric power connection but opens via temperature, so I don't see how it could be malfunctioning intermittently after the truck warms to operating temperature- once it gets warm enough it shouldn't be able to close again until it cools off. If it turns out that some way the electric choke is in fact malfunctioning you can get a replacement, try webercarbsdirect or Redline.
