My old truck pulls it noproblem the gritter is only 2TON loaded.You cant beat a diesel for towing.

Pff thats not cold weather at all!! Just a few days ago it hit -43 degrees celsius. (thats about -45 degrees fahrenheit) Nothing starts unless it plugged in when its that cold! ....Trust me.... :lol:And to top it off there was a wind chill of about -48 degrees celsius (-54 degrees fahrenheit) 8O :x

wow that gritter is perty heavy. I have had 3,000lbs behind my luv and it did whith out any real problems. And if you have a diesel i would think you could do at least as much.
And smokinluv thats crazy, how do people survive 8O :lol:

I was thinkin the same thing. Are you talking about a trailer with a slinger for putting sand/salt on the road? Those gotta weigh a shitload. And to think, you are promoting rust by putting salt on the road :wink: .

I was in South Dakota back in 98 and we had a power outage and a friggin winter storm come in, it was -30 degrees outside with a windchill of -60 8O Luckily the week prior I installed a block heater and had it plugged in :lol: Then lucky me I get to drive 55 miles to work and back in the evening. Another contributing factor in why I rejoined the Army!!! :lol: I will never go back to So. Dakota unless it's summertime and it's for the Black Hills Rally (Sturgis for all you younger guys) :lol:

My uncle said that the LUV was the only thing that would start on really cold days, out of his 4 other cars, including a brand new camaro. :o
